WOW - we have been to a dynamite movie. It's called Fireproof, starring Kurt Cameron. It's the 2nd movie by a teeny church in Georgia - low budget - mostly volunteers - and AWESOME! Tonight was the first night it opened and the theatre was PACKED - it's a Godly film - that is so fantastic!
Tomorrow we're going to watch our Alex play baseball. And in the afternoon, we're having cake, kite-flying and tricycle riding to celebrate Glen's birthday (it's actually Sunday). We live on a wondrous cul-de-sac which is perfect for the little guys to play - no traffic to worry about. And the park across the street is ideal for trying out Glen's birthday prezzie - a new kite. We took it to the park across town last weekend but there was NO wind. You Abu Dhabi/ECC folks will understand this - it's not as big as Ian's - we say it has "training wheels" but it's going to be FUN - if there's ever any wind!
Bank fraud is almost fixed - now we have been told we need to file a report with the police - WHEW! Glen got the parking ticket taken off and both cars are doing GRAND! Our church is FANTASTIC - we're getting lots of in-depth teaching about the Jewish high holy days coming up - LOVE IT! Glen is still treading water job wise. The word is it's still Greece (HOORAY) and still spring - but no word yet on when the Abu Dhabi job will run out. Keep praying for him - it's not easy for him to just push pencils when he's used to WORK!
Meanwhile, it's nearing fall here in the US - our trees are already beginning to shed. We're planting fall flowers and trying to fill in some bald spots on the lawn. The house is fantastic - inside and out. GOD IS GOOD!
