Howdy! For those of you wondering about our news - there ain't none! Oh we had a 2 hour security briefing yesterday, followed by a mandatory TB test. But now we're told that the company is "reviewing" the contract to see if the profit margin is large enough! Glen's getting antsy cause he needs to be in country when the test station is delivered and that is not looking too whoopie right now!
Meanwhile, here's some other news - we are using the same vet who helped us from Fort Worth to Abu Dhabi. I have an appointment on Friday - have to wrestle both boys to the office by 10 a.m. (JOYOUS right?) to get their rabies shots and have a paper filled out to be sent to Austin for the official stamp. Then 10 days prior to flying, we get another office visit for the health certificate for the US folks! Confused? ME TOO!
Tomorrow night is the Passover Seder at church and we both get to help serve - how fun is that! Thursday is my all day Caleb day and it's really going to be chopped up this time - we have to go back to the hospital to have the TB test "read" and then I'm leaving early to go to the church and help set up.
Boxes all over the house again - my cats are a nervous pile of cat fur! It would SO help if we had some kind of idea about a date! Until the company signs off and HRO can contact the moving/transition company, we're STUCK! BIG TIME!
I kept Caleb and Jacob today. We went outside to play - they had lemonade popsicles for the first time - it was such a hoot! Caleb loves trying to hit poppy's huge golf ball with the equally gargantuan golf club! Jacob lay down on the warm concrete and had a car in each hand - he was rroom rroom rrooming till his little cheeks got so red I had to bring em inside! It was funny.
Hope all of you are having a glorious spring day/evening/night - AND that you know for sure when you're packing!
